Celebrating Chinese New Year

This sensational image was on a favourite blog of mine, reminding me that the Chinese New Year starts today. The year of the horse.

Of course that led me to wander through the web world for quite some time, finding out all about the Chinese zodiac. Fascinating stuff.
I'm a fire monkey and the mister is an earth monkey. We are very compatible. Phew.

This little fella is really a snow monkey, but I think we share an attitude as well as monkey genes.

Fire monkeys are very strong, durable, successful, smart and a good friend and parent. If I'm all of those things I'm a very happy monkey. Check out if you are a monkey face too here.

    I also browsed the internet to check our signs too. I am a horse and H is a tiger - apparently we are both very compatible too - good job after all of our years together.

    Oh dear, I'm a podgy, naïve pig and Mr N is a noble dragon. The other way round I should say!
    AND we're incompatible - though it's a bit late (27 years) to worry about that.
