I'm sure most folk who live in the UK have heard of Emma Bridgewater, who, when only a young woman had the desire and the vision ...
That is quite a lot of snow, Jean! It started snowing during our commute on Wednesday but it didn't stick and it was all gone within a couple of hours. Your garden does look pretty under its snowy blanket, but it's not fun when you've got a posh do coming up! I'm sure our Bess would have been a scaredy cat too under the circumstances! xxx
ReplyDeleteThe posh do has been postponed with more snow on the way. But tomorrow we're promised a warm up so we're planning a walk with Sunday lunch afterwards at our local farm shop cafe. We may even buy the Sunday papers.
DeleteOh wow, you had way more snow than us. We had had quite a bit more overnight on Wednesday so it was white over on Thursday morning but then rain came in and by tea time it was all gone! There was a little bit this morning but the sun came out and now that's gone too. Hope you manage to get to your posh do.
ReplyDeleteSadly cancelled Maggie. Well, postponed. Cheese and wine for dinner tonight instead, can't be bad.
DeleteOur snow came and went very quickly.
ReplyDeleteMiss Mittens is very pretty.
We love her to bits.
DeleteWow! Your garden is beautiful buried in snow. What a winter wonderland Mother Nature has created outside your windows.
ReplyDeleteThank you, it does look beautiful.
