A Trip To Norfolk
<
The Mr and I have just spent a few wonderful days in Norfolk. The sea air was bracing, the nosh delicious and our little rental cottage a delight. We saw many creatures on our travels around the country lanes including a tiny Munjac deer no bigger than a rabbit, peacocks three at once, horses, goats and hundreds of piggies all out in the fresh air. If we ever needed convincing of our next move, we surely don't now. Our house will be on the market in a couple of weeks and we hope to make a move to Norfolk asap. I really can't wait to live by the sea again.

How exciting. I like Norfolk - it's almost like going back in time.
ReplyDeleteIt is, you're right and it's under populated, which I think is a plus.
DeleteYour trip sounds absolutely delightful, and it must be fantastic to be living by the sea. I do hope you find what you are looking for! xxx
ReplyDeleteThank you so much PP.
DeleteSqueal!!! I'm so excited for you! What a dream to live by the sea! And aren't those little deer the ones that make an unearthly barking-like sound? That would scare the dickens out of me. LOL. ~Robin~
ReplyDeleteThanks Robin. We lived by the sea years ago and although I have loved my time in the Peak District I'm yearning for the sea and the wonderful mineralised air. Breath Deep.
DeleteYour recent days in Norfolk sound lovely, and I enjoyed your photographs. I hope plans for your move go well.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thanks Jan.
DeleteExciting times ahead. X
ReplyDeleteI know, very exciting.
DeleteWe have so many wonderful counties in the UK, we're spoilt for choice, all offer something different. I've been to Norfork a few times but it isn't somewhere I'm all that familiar with, though it's somewhere I'd like to visit again. I hope your next move is swift and hassle free.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jo, perhaps once I'm there I'll be able to give you a few tips for visiting.
DeleteI just love the way the baby angel is being lifted out of the play pen! Lesley
ReplyDeleteI know it's wild isn't it? A little painting in a side corrider at Blickling Hall.
