I wasn't sure about Bridgerton at first, but I really enjoyed the costumes. Season 2 is open us my friends.

I think I watched a bit of the first episode but I just couldn't get into it so I never watched any more, I know it's been very popular though.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest Jo, it's just a bit of fun. The fabrics for the gowns looks awfully cheap, but they're so over the top they are worth a squiz. xx
DeleteI have yet to watch it, but I might do so for the costumes! xxx
ReplyDeleteYou won't be disappointed. The costumes and sets are wonderful but most everything else is a bit odd, but still enjoyable. xx
DeleteI dithered a bit too when I started watching Bridgerton and couldn't decide if I liked it or not but I'm glad I kept watching it. The costumes are fantastic and I like the satirical hints in it. Have you seen the Gilded Age? A later period in history but very good and wonderful costumes and settings. I believe its on Netflix. Keep well. Amanda x
ReplyDeleteIndeed I have found the Gilded Age, it got panned by the critics, but I love it. I'm a complete sucker for period costumes. xx
