I'm just about old enough to remember him. Saw his pic yesterday and thought of Jean-Paul Gaultier. Can you see it?

    Oh my! Memories, memories and it was Gerry Anderson who bought us Torchy and a lot of other popular programmes.

    He is not familiar to me here in New Zealand Jean ... but I can certainly see the resemblance to Jean-Paul !!

    Ha ha...Uncanny likeness! I've never heard of Torchy (must be an "across-the-pond" thing given the fact that we don't use the term torch here)...but loved the old-timey video ad! ~Robin~

    Haha, yes, I can see the resemblance. I've never heard of Torchy before though, I think he was before my time.
