I've always wanted to visit Dennis Severs' House, so I wish I could go as well! xxx
ReplyDeleteI have been once years ago, it's totally fascinating and very eerie. And a bit like Brunswick House it is compromised as it has a massive multi storey car park inches behind it. But at least a few houses were saved.
DeleteThat sounds amazing. ❤️
ReplyDeleteIt had a superb energy about it. We spoke to the owner, a very nice older man (antique dealer) and he had a gorgeous whippet.
DeleteAut Visum, Aut Non! (Ha ha...this time I went down the rabbit hole before commenting LOL) This place looks and sounds AMAZING!! Oh my heck...even a Victorian room of poverty and squalor that smells bad!! How I wish you could go too...and bring back loads of photos and descriptions through which I can visit vicariously.
ReplyDeleteI have been but not for years. Fascinating, eerie with a strange but not unpleasant energy. You have to be careful not to kick the chamber pot in the main bedroom which is full of urine. One of the girls who came with me couldn't bring herself to go down into the cellar.
DeleteSorry you will miss this event.
ReplyDeleteI had a further read-up on Dennis Severs House
