At the back of the shop we found some old knitting and factory machinery and some vintage patterns and photos. We also spotted an Icelandic jumper in the making.
I did have space in my case for a small purchase of yarn, which I will be using very soon and is absolutely not just adding to my stash. Which is quite a small stash anyway, just in case anyone is interested.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your lovely comment. My woolly plans on the UFO front should involve crochet but alas it's proving to be the devil to get to grips with. I shall have to attend one of my own beginners crochet workshops when they start later on this year, ha ha. I'm not the tutor btw.

Another tick on reasons to visit (most of my knitting is in alafoss) you were admirably restrained on the wool buying front, think I'd have probably had to have bought another suitcase if the price was better than here. Hope there are more photos to come.
