Recognise this gorgeous waterfront villa? Well if you're a fan of the Tv programme The Durrells you probably will. I loved every little thing about that programme and I do believe it may be coming back to our screens in some other format soon, fingers crossed.
The villa popped up on a lovely blog I follow written by the talented Pip Lincolne. The villa is available to rent through Whitedream villas Corfu. But you may wish to sit down to hear the price. 3k-4k per night. Yikes!!!!
I loved The Durrells, but the price of that villa means that I won't ever be going to their neck of the woods. I'll continue to watch on tv and imagine ...
ReplyDeleteit seems extortionate despite it's connection to the programme and beauty. I would think there would be other properties nearby a lot cheaper, then you ccan knock for a cup of sugar:)

DeleteI've never watched the Durrells but it seems I have heard it mentioned...and from the brief description I read online, it sounds like I'd enjoy it. But how strange...before reading anything, the photo jolted me back to a dream I had a few years back. I'm sure it was at that very place!
